Department of Mathematics

Introduction:

The Department of Mathematics was established in the Toshniwal Arts, Commerce and Science College, Sengaon, Dist. Hingoli during the academic year 2009-10. The department of Mathematics is a multidisciplinary department. Mathematics is one of the optional subjects at UG level. The department runs B.Sc. three year degree course.

Aim:

• To prepare students for facing the challenges by providing updated basic knowledge and skills of mathematics.

Objectives:

1. To train the mind and develop the power of understanding, critical and logical thinking among the students.
2. To promote the students towards the higher education and research in mathematics.
3. To increase richness and utility of mathematics in day to day life.
