Department of Political Science

Introduction:

The department of Political Science is established at the beginning of Arts faculty with the view and vision to strengthen political science knowledge of students belonging to this educationally diverse region and develop an adequate understanding about political affairs and human resources development worldwide as well as in domicile states. The department is actively engaged in execution of various academic activities which boost the confidence of students and inspire them to pursue political science as one of the option for achieving betterment in their prosperous bright life.

Aim:

• Strengthen the mental ability of students to understand and analyze the political clutches for the development of human being and existence of life.

Objectives:

1. To develop an understanding capacity of students for learning and grasping the daily developments in and around the life.
2. To make educationally and knowledgeably sound and efficient citizens of the country.
3. To encourage & promote the self and scientific thinking ability of the students.
4. To provide an assistance & consultancy to people of remote area through students knowledge enlighten and encouragement.

Courses offered:

Political science is one of the allied subject offered for completion of bachelors degree in arts (B.A.)

Co-curricular activity:

The department usually organizes guidance, inspirational, motivational talks of various beurocrats, corporator and politicians also Judges, Tahsildar, SDO, District Welfare Officer etc.
