Student-Teacher-Parent Meet and Felicitation of Meritorious Students-2019

The student-teacher-parent meet, guidance of competitive exams, inauguration of indoor sport facility center and felicitation of meritorious students organized in Toshniwal Arts, Commerce and Science College, Sengaon on 23rd September 2019 at 11:00 O’clock into the college campus. The inaugural guest of the function was Hon’ble Dr. Uddhavji Bhosale (Vice-Chancellor, SRTM University, Nanded, the chief guidance of Shri Manchakji Ippar (IPS, Commandant S.R.P.F., Hingoli), the chief guest of the programme were Mr.Umraoji Shelke (Secretary, SGSPMY), Mr. Raman Toshniwal (President, LMC), the president of the programme Hon’ble Mr. B.R. Toshniwal (President, SGSPMY), Mr. Ekshinge Appa (Vice-President, SGSPMY), Mrs. Sarojini Khade (Ex-President of Z. P., Hingoli), Mr. S. G. Talnikar, Principal of the college, Mr. Kulkarni, Headmaster of SOD Vidyalaya, and Mr. R. S. Gore, the event coordinator were present on the stage. The programme was divided into three sessions- Inauguration of Indoor Sport Facility Center, the chief guidance on competitive exams and felicitation of meritorious students. In the first part of the programme, Indoor Sport Facility Center was inaugurated by Dr. Uddhavji Bhosale, Shri Manchakji Ippar, Shri B. R. Toshniwal and other respected members of the society. Initially the dignitaries’ on dias worshiped goddesses Saraswati. After the worship of goddesses, the cultural group of college students welcomed all the dignitaries on the dias by singing welcome song which practiced under the guidance of Dr. V.G. Wagh, coordinator of cultural committee. The introduction of the programme was given by Mr. S. G. Talnikar, Principal of the College. In his introductory speech, he gave the information to the parents and students about the various courses run by the college, lab facilities, various curricular, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities conducted by the college for all inclusive development of students.

The enlarge introduction of the chief inaugurator was given by Dr. D.G.Sawant to the students and parents. In the inaugural speech, Dr. Uddhavji Bhosale declared that the indoor sport facility center is opened to one and all, students should take benefit of all facilities available in indoor sport center. Dr. Bhosale guided to the students, parents and told them that there is no any option without hard work in the life to get success. Today’s era is the era of internet and the Govt.of India has been started the programme like Digital India and Make in India to make aware the youth with technology and create skill oriented man power. He also appealed to students of the college that they should enroll for online courses through the platform of Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC’S) available on NPTEL, SWAYAM and ARPIT. He also shared his own experiences with students and parents on that occasion and insisted to students’ to maintain continuity in study. Mr. K. K. Aasegaonkar introduced Hon’ble Manchakji Ippar to the large audience and talked about his punctuality of time. After him, Mr. Manchakji Ippar guided to the students about competitive exams and told them plenty of opportunities available through competitive exams in various fields. He also told that various officers come from rural area and it is great opportunity to all of you to build your career through competitive exams. He told that ‘if you want to reach on the peak of success, it must be engrave on your mind.’ He shared his view among students about his own education and emphasized upon all-inclusive reading which will make a man perfect and develop oratory skill among the students to speak spontaneously on any topic. He also gave the example of great persona such as Einstein, Abraham Lincoln and Thomas Edison who had common intellectual ability but their contribution in their field was remarkable. He motivated students confidence, steadiness, time-management and hard work which is essential to get the success into the competitive exams. Mr. R.G. Toshniwal spoke over the present and future development of the college which is the last college in the territory of SRTM University, Nanded and requested Vice- Chancellor to pay attention towards our college whenever needed. In addition to the programme, the felicitation of scholar students through hands of respected dignitaries on the dias by giving them cash, medal and certificates. The session of felicitation of meritorious students was anchored by Mr. R. S. Subnis. The entire programme was anchored by Mr. S. B. Phad and vote of thanks offered by Dr. S. R. Pajai. For running the programme successfully special efforts were made by the programme coordinator, Mr. R. S. Gore, teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college. The huge number of students (556) and parents (124) were present for this programme. After this, the college made the arrangement of delicious lunch for the guests, students, parents, teaching and non-teaching staff members of the college.
